About Me

I'm Nathan, the owner and lead photographer at The Radiant North. My photography journey started in the remote Northern Territory, driven by the simple goal of capturing life as it happened — first as a dad, then as a creative, and now as a professional real estate photographer.

After relocating to Nhulunbuy in 2007, I bought my first DSLR — a Canon 1000D — to better capture memories of my growing family. That passion has evolved over 14 years and through every step up the Canon range, leading to the full-frame 5D Mk IV I shoot with today.

My work has taken me from Arnhem Land to the Central Desert, camera always by my side. These experiences shaped my eye for natural light, detail, and authentic representation — all key elements in my real estate photography.

Now based in Howard Springs with my wife, three daughters, two Labradors, two cockatiels, and a squad of chickens, I focus on helping Darwin homeowners and real estate agents present their properties at their very best.
